Daily Sabah is the English-language edition of the pro-government daily Sabah. It was founded in 2014 with the clear intent of conveying the government's views to foreign readers and as a counterweight to the Hürriyet Daily News und Today's Zaman, papers which tend to be more critical of the government. Certain sections of its online edition are also published in German, Arabic and Russian.
