autograf.hr was founded by Croatian journalist Drago Pilsel in 2013. With his daily blog Pilsel, a columnist known for his incorruptibility and critical stance, aims to provide like-minded colleagues with a forum that serves as a counterbalance to the commercialised and frequently politically biased journalism generally on offer in Croatia. autograph.hr is financed solely by subsidies and donations. The blog increasingly uses commentaries from other media because it can no longer afford to pay for its own writers.
