The Badische Zeitung is the largest subscription newspaper in the Baden region. It is printed in 21 local editions in Germany's south-westernmost region around the city of Freiburg in Breisgau. In 2006, the newspaper launched the local online platform "fudder", which won the 2007 Grimme Online Award.
