Describing itself as a “pro western” political blog, Die Achse des Guten provides a platform for a range of critical voices on issues such as Islam, antisemitism and climate politics. The title (The Axis of Good) is a word play on “The Axis of Evil”. Its longstanding publisher, author and shareholder Michael Miersch, left the blog in 2015 saying that "a mood has started to spread that has very little in common with the original liberal, open and enlightened stance of this authors' blog."
