Pitsirikos is one of Greece's best-known bloggers. His blog claimed to be one of Greece's 250 most visited websites in 2015, when elections and the referendum against the austerity measures were held. Pitsirikos is a pseudonym used by a journalist. He never made his real name public, but a politician of the conservative Nea Demokratia party unmasked him on Twitter, triggering protests from the left-wing opposition. Pitsirikos doesn't just publish his own texts but also texts and comments by his readers.
