The German publisher Heinrich Ludwig Kayser founded the regional newspaper Dernières Nouvelles d’Alsace (DNA) in 1877. It is one of France's oldest regional newspapers and the leading paper in Alsace. In 1995 it was France's first newspaper to go online. It has had an app for tablets since 2013.
