De Tijd is a Flemish business paper founded in 1968 as a financial and stock market paper. It targets investors, entrepreneurs, managers and decision makers. In 1995 it became the first Flemish newspaper to launch an online edition. Numerous well-known commentators, including Rik Van Cauwelaert, write for this liberal paper.
