Týždeň is a sociopolitical weekly paper. It deals with the political situation in the country and also features pieces on foreign policy and culture. It targets a liberal-conservative readership. Since its launch in 2004 it has been run by Štefan Hríb, who was formerly chief editor of Radio Free Europe in Munich. Many of the paper's editors used to work for the now defunct weekly paper Domino fórum.
