Kansan Uutiset is the Left Alliance's official organ. Founded in 1957, in its initial years its circulation rose steadily to over 50,000 copies, so that for some time it was the most popular political paper with the working class. In 2009 the print version and paid-content e-paper started appearing only on Fridays and since 2022 it has been published only as a monthly magazine. The free online version is updated several times a week.
