The successor to the resistance newspaper Le Patriote was published underground during WWII and until 1999 had a strongly Catholic orientation. It is the only Francophone newspaper that is also distributed in Flanders. It has been printed in tabloid format since 2002 and belongs to the IPM publishing group, which also publishes La Dernière Heure. Its circulation is in decline.
