In compliance with EU directives, the public radio and television broadcaster RTV Slovenija launched MMC multimedia centre to be active in the new media sector. Its main task is to provide interactive accompaniment to RTV's radio and television programmes online. The RTV SLO website is now one of Slovenia's most popular websites and publishes numerous columns written by the broadcaster's radio and TV journalists.
