Rzeczpospolita is Poland's leading liberal-conservative daily. In 2023, Pluralis, a company which belongs to billionaire George Soros's investment group, acquired a majority stake in Gremi Media, which also publishes Rzeczpospolita. Pluralis states on its website that it invests in successful news companies that provide independent, quality reporting in countries in Europe where a plural media is at risk.
