The Stuttgarter Zeitung is a regional paper that is sold throughout the Stuttgart region in the south of Germany. It has shared an editiorial department with the Stuttgarter Nachrichten newspaper at the Pressehaus Stuttgart since 2016, however, the Stuttgarter Nachrichten has its own fixed team of authors who continue to write exclusively for that paper. In 2009 the Stuttgarter Zeitung won the European Regional Newspaper of the Year prize at the European Newspaper Awards.
