Új Szó is Slovakia's sole Hungarian-language daily. It is read by members of the Hungarian minority (around 500,000 people), most of whom live in southern Slovakia. Új Szó focuses on the political and social developments in Slovakia and also regularly publishes commentaries on global political events.
