Večernji list is Croatia's second biggest daily in terms of circulation. After its takeover by Austria's Styria Media Group AG the newspaper's national conservative orientation became more pronounced, and its commentaries now provide space for political views that range from liberal-conservative to far-right. Večernji list is closely aligned with the national conservative HDZ party.
