Verslo žinios is the only business newspaper on the Lithuanian market. The main shareholders are the Swedish company Bonnier Business Press AB and the editor-in-chief Rolandas Barysas. This former daily newspaper was already struggling to keep its print version going when the Covid pandemic dealt it another blow. In April 2020 it has appeared only once a week. The publisher also had to let go of its two specialised journals. The outlet has focused its efforts on its website VZ, where some content is behind a paywall.
