Český rozhlas

Thanks to its up-to-date reporting and objectivity the Czech Republic's public radio broadcaster Český rozhlas enjoys a high level of trust among the population. Its good reputation even exceeds that of public television. Its Plus programme is outstanding, following domestic and international news as a purely verbal broadcaster and providing journalistic analysis with interviews and commentaries. The radio broadcaster also has the largest network of foreign correspondents of any media outlet in the Czech Republic. There appears to be clear potential for growth in the area of quality commentary, however. It currently relies more on guest contributors from renowned daily newspapers than on its own radio journalists.
