Al-Araby Al-Jadid (The New Arab) is published in a print version and an independent online version (also in English) and belongs to the Qatari company Fadaat Media, but is based in London. Politically the newspaper is closely aligned with Qatar's young ruler Emir Tamim Ben Hamad Al-Thani. The TV station Alaraby, which was launched in 2015 and is also based in London, is owned by the same company.
