Fokus is one of the nationwide Russian-language weekly newspapers. Originally owned by Ukrainski Media Holding (United Media Holding Group), in December 2016 the weekly magazine was acquired with the Business Radio Group from one of the smaller media companies. The editorial line is government-critical and economically liberal. The associated website also has an opinion page. It regularly features rankings of the wealthiest individuals, the most influential women, etc.
