Origo is a pro-government website that until 2014 was politically independent and owned by Telekom. It is still one of Hungary's most visited news sites after Index. The publishing house has belonged to the pro-government media foundation Közép-Európai Sajtó-és Média Alapítvány (KESMA) since 2018.
