Jeune Afrique is an independent weekly magazine founded by the then Tunisian Minister of Information Béchir Ben Yahmed as an independent weekly magazine. In 1964 the editorial offices relocated to Paris. Jeune Afrique offers analyses, interviews and reflections on the political, economic and social challenges that Africa faces. Its sister publication, The Africa Report, appears in English.
