Baricada is a website run by a group of left-wing activists, journalists and intellectuals in several Eastern European countries. According to their mission statement they aim to offer an alternative to right-wing conservative and right-wing liberal opinions and analyses, but also to conventional media. It publishes news, commentaries, analyses and social criticism on global topics, with a particular focus on the Balkans.
