Romkat is a Roman Catholic online media outlet that predominantly covers religious, but occasionally also social issues. The publishing house is operated by four Catholic dioceses. The portal is financially supported by the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania (RMDSZ) party as well as by the Hungarian government.
