The Insider is an online newspaper based in Riga that conducts in-depth investigative projects on state crimes, sometimes in cooperation with leading Western media. It also features analytical content. In Russia, it has been blocked and declared both a "foreign agent" and an "undesirable organisation". As a result, cooperation with the paper is now a punishable offence in Russia.
