After the closure of the independent radio station Echo of Moscow, many of its employees went into exile and started their own projects, mostly on Youtube. In autumn 2022 former deputy editor-in-chief Maxim Kurnikov organised a new base for the radio station's former employees in Berlin. Via a website, messaging service Telegram and a radio app, the different channels are now brought together to produce a 24-hour programme.
