Vreme (Time) is a weekly news magazine that was founded in 1990 by journalists and liberal intellectuals. It rejected the nationalist rhetoric of the Milošević government and gained an international reputation as an independent news outlet. To this day it remains true to its liberal, independent and pro-European editorial orientation.
