Levila

The Levila website was founded in spring 2020 and launched with the story "Children of Alcohol". Since then, Levila has been publishing articles, films, audio stories and journalistic experiments that aim to give people a voice in the midst of important events: reports covering journeys across the Baltic States and to war-torn Ukraine, as well as interviews with controversial figures. Levila director Daniel Vaarik and the well-known technology entrepreneurs Taavet Hinrikus, Ahti Heinla and Sten Tamkivi invested in the start-up together with 15 other people. Levila was awarded the "Clear Message" title in 2022.
