LB.ua is one of the larger Ukrainian news websites and publishes in Russian and Ukrainian, although in recent times more often only in Ukrainian. From 2008 to 2011 it also featured a Russian-language weekly by the name of Levy Bereg (left bank), which was shut down for financial reasons. Lb.ua works closely with the Gorshenin Institute, Ukraine's most renowned think tank, which also collaborates with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and other think tanks and research institutes.
